Bridesmaid Proposal Lunch!
Updated: Mar 4, 2020
It was my turn to pop the question.. to my absolute best girlfriends!
I wanted to ask my best friends if they would be my bridesmaids in a special way. These are the ladies who have stood by my side in life and will be doing so on my wedding day. They deserved a little treat!
I planned a lunch at one of my favorite Austin spots, Tiny Boxwoods! Their food is so good but what I keep coming back for are their chocolate chip cookies!! They are the best in the entire city if you ask me! No other cookie compares, and trust me, I've tried all of them. My favorite dessert of all times is a warm chocolate chip cookie and Tiny Boxwoods knocks it out of the park with their recipe. Plus, they serve them warm! (Drooling currently)
I had a vision for my bridesmaid boxes to really set the tones for the entire wedding. All white with blush! I found an awesome all white and gold magnetic box on Etsy (linked at the bottom) and filled it with all blush pink things!
I also included personalized cards that looked like each of my bridesmaids. I thought it was a really fun way to make each box more personal. Also, I included one of my designs that showed my bridesmaid the vision of the wedding.
I highly suggest getting your bridesmaids together for a fun lunch like this! It was such a fun day to get everyone together and start talking about the wedding. Looking back, this was one of the most exciting times, in the beginning with so many possibilities and sharing it with my best girls was really special.
Cheers to best friends! (and my mom who isn't looking!)
